Research & Insights
Our team conducted extensive market and user research to understand content discovery behaviors and preferences. We analyzed viewing patterns, conducted user interviews, and performed competitive analysis to identify key areas for improvement.
We also collaborated with data scientists to understand the technical capabilities and limitations of the recommendation engine.
Concepts & Wireframes
I've led the conceptualization phase, brainstorming with the design team to generate innovative ideas that align with user needs and project goals. We developed user personas and scenarios to guide the design process and ensure a user-centered approach.
We mapped out user flows for key app functionalities. Prioritized simplicity and intuitiveness in the navigation structure to enhance user engagement.
Final Visual Design and Prototype Development
- Interface Design: Created detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final visual designs.
- Prototyping & Demos: Developed high-fidelity prototypes that showcased the technology's core features, including a dynamic home feed with customized data, voice commands, and easy-to-navigate user interfaces. Conducted iterative design reviews with the team to refine the prototypes.
Outcomes
Rovi Corporation won innovation awards year-over-year with their cutting edge technologies and products and obtained a prolific amount of IP in the cable space. The products were well-received at the trade shows and many 3rd party companies signed on for data packages. In 2016, Rovi aquired TiVo corporation, Creating $3 Billion Entertainment Technology Leader
